Since 1997 Worldsmart Technology has continued to gather a leading senior management
team across all divisions of the business.
Ray was recruited to Worldsmart with over 17 years experience within the St.George
Bank Group. Whilst at St.George, Ray held many managerial positions involving smart
cards, credit cards, electronic banking, internet banking and telephone banking.
In his previous position, Ray was National Manager of Chip & Co-Brand credit
cards for St.George Bank where he managed the development and implementation of
the Visa Cash electronic purse smart card and more than five new co-branded credit
card programs.
Ray was the St.George representative on the Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard Operation
Committees as well as the Visa e-Ecommerce and Chip Asia Pacific Members Committees.
Additionally with his knowledge and experience in the industry, Ray has been invited
on numerous occasions to present at industry forums and conferences within Australia
and Asia in relation to the use of smart card technology.
He brings Worldsmart years of experience involved with technology based projects
and management of business divisions within the banking and technology industries.
Peter has many years experience with the design and development of gaming and loyalty
systems and is the chief architect of the current solutions that Worldsmart provide.
Peter designed all current components of the Jackpot Club and e-asy System, as well
as the design and manufacture of Worldsmart’s Player Interface Modules that are
integrated into Electronic Gaming Machines. Prior to joining Worldsmart in 1997,
Peter worked at the Adelaide Casino as Technical Research Manager for over 8 years.
Peter continues to research leading edge innovations in the design and future positioning
of Worldsmart’s loyalty and gaming solutions.
Danielle has been with Worldsmart for over 3 years where she has overseen the development
and implementation of the e-asy branding, advertising and marketing plans and the
program launch.
Danielle is also responsible for other marketing initiatives as part of the rdjones
Group of companies which include the Jackpot Club and numerous hotels.
Danielle has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing & Management
and is currently undertaking a Masters in Entrepreneurship at Adelaide University.
Operations Manager – Rachel Thewlis
Rachel joined Worldsmart in 2005 after 15 years with the St.George Bank Group where
she held a number of managerial positions in operations, Group Help Desk and retail
network.
Rachel has a thorough approach to operations and sees things from the customer point
of view. She is responsible for the development of business requirements documentation
at the start of any new IT development and is also responsible for the quality assurance
and user testing once development has taken place.
Her experience in running teams and managing operations within St.George brings
a wealth of knowledge and experience to Worldsmart Technology.
