IGA Pendle Hill opens in record time

Congratulations to Phil Whitehead, the team at IGA Pendle Hill, Metcash and the WorldSmart Team!

When a major supermarket chain announced they were shutting down their Pendle Hill supermarket, IGA and Phil Whitehead came to the rescue to ensure local residents would have somewhere to do their supermarket shopping.

The doors were open for trade only 6 days after Phil was given the keys! An amazing effort by all, including the WorldSmart team who installed 3 Toshiba Self Checkouts, Toshiba POS and WorldSmart’s market leading SmartRetail and SmartMobile solutions. No challenge was too great for the team!
